start a commission

Tell me about
the one you
want to keep.

A commission begins with a conversation. Tell me who or what it’s for and the feeling you’d like to hold, and I’ll help you shape it into thread. Send a photo or two if you have them. I reply within a day or two.

a few commissions at a time · made by one pair of hands

A hand-embroidered Yorkshire terrier portrait, the face stitched in warm browns with the long coat sketched in fine pencil lines, held in a wooden hoop on natural linen.

the quickest ways to reach me

Whichever feels easiest.

how it works

Three gentle steps, no obligation.

  1. you tell me

Share the idea, the person or creature, and any photos you have. Not sure yet? That’s alright, we’ll find it together.

  2. we talk it through

I write back within a day or two with a few questions, a price, and a rough timeline. Nothing is owed until we both feel sure.

  3. I make it, by hand

Long-and-short stitch on raw cotton or canvas, often over several weeks. An heirloom, finished, hooped or framed for the wall.

the idea

Tell me about your piece.

Everything but your name, email and phone is optional. The more you share, the better I can picture it, but a few lines is plenty to begin.

First, so I can reach you

With your country code, so I can reach you wherever you are.

What are you dreaming of?
The idea behind it

Who or what is it for, the feeling you want to keep, and where it might live.

Add a photo or two a clear photo of the face or feathers, or anything that inspires you

JPG, PNG, HEIC or PDF. If your photos are large or there are many, you can also send them on WhatsApp or by email.

    A few details all optional

I read every message myself, and reply within a day or two.
